The Season Three Gag Reel is an hilarious 13-minute spoof of Sliders' production run from 1996 to 1997. Produced by crew members Paul Fontaine and Paul Leonard, this is proof positive that not only were production elements aware that the show was rapidly sliding downhill into a huge sea of Suck, they were able to laugh about it as well.
In addition to general goofs about the show's cast and crew, the Gag Reel also showcases a few behind-the-scenes rarities that you won't find elsewhere, such as footage of Roger Daltrey's impromptu performance at the Mission Inn during filming of The Exodus (not the audio, unfortunately), Kari Wuhrer singing and several bloopers of the cast cracking up.
You'll also hear Cleavant Derricks opining about the Sliders penchant for visiting their lame, overused cave set and the complete version Jerry O'Connell's shameful butchering of "Tears in My 'Fro." Not only that, but production skewers some of the writer's poorer outings by matching scene-for-scene Sliders episodes with the movies they pinched their ideas from.
And if that isn't enough, you even get a shot of Jerry O'Connell as pudgy scaredy-cat Vern Tessio from "Stand by Me!" But don't take our word for it, download it now!
