  • There is much confusion over the spelling of Wade's last name. In articles and Fox press releases, it is spelled Wells while in closed captioning, in scripts, and the credits for her relatives in "Seasons Greedings" the spelling is Welles. Tracy Torme, who created the character, insists that the spelling is Welles -- a play, he says, on Orson Welles' name.
  • Did you know that Amy Pietz ("Caroline in the Ciy," right) was also very close to landing the role of Wade Welles before producers settled on Sabrina Lloyd?
