Major Revisions -- Check out the Year Five Facts & Rumors page for info on the revisions that are underway on the new characters and the season premiere. There's an unsettling, major spoiler there so don't go if you don't want to know.
Thanks, Everyone -- Many thanks to all that responded to my plea for summary writers. I got many responses and am currently compling a list, which should be finished by weeks end.

Jerry Does Jello Shots -- Jerry O'Connell has been cast in the lead in the yet-to-film New Line movie Jello Shots. He joins Tara Reid, Brad Rowe, Sean Patrick Flanery and Amanda Peet.
The film centers around a group of pals who must face the consequences after a wild night of drinking. It's being directed by Michael Christopher and written by David McKenna (American History X).
It's unclear at this time as to whether this is the film that Jerry originally signed on for a couple of weeks ago, with a name change.
Jerry is currently filming the upcoming NBC mini-series The Sixties in Los Angeles, which is set to air February 7th and 8th, 1999.
[Much thanks to Raydelle for bringing this to my attention.]
A Bennish Return? -- A very reliable source states that there's a 90 per cent chance that Jason Gaffney will reprise his Conrad Bennish role sometime in Season Five. No further information was available, ie what role he'll play etc. [Thanks to Cresty for the info.]
Season Six -- Though the jury is still out on Season Six being picked up by the Sci-Fi Channel, the USCWS has learned that the USA Network may be very interested in possibly airing Sliders' proposed sixth season.
Year 5 in January? -- The U.S. version of TV Guide, on their TVGEN website, has stated that the fifth season premiere is likely set to go in January
There is some speculation on the net, however, that TVGEN got the fifth season premiere and the Seasons 1-3 first airing mixed up.
I'll try to follow up with information and clarify the situation.
Roswell Slide? -- Latest season five information has it that Sliders is planning an episode that revolves around the Roswell landings in the 1940s.
Check out my Year Five: Facts and Rumors page for more details.
It's slated to be episode # 15 of 22.

Hey Melissa! -- Sci-Fi Wire and The Los Angeles Times reported over the weekend that actress Tembi Locke has been cast in the fifth season of sliders, presumably as Melissa.
Locke is no stranger to the USA Network. In 1997, she co-starred on the USA Networks original sitcom "Claude's Crib," which starred Claude Brooks, who also guest starred on Sliders as L.J. in the second season episode El Sid.
Restless for Work -- Jerry O'Connell will guest star on the daytime soap "The Young and the Restless."
O'Connell, who is currently credited simply as "The Man/Cohort" will appear on Wednesday, November 4.
No word on if this role is a precursor to something permanent. But I doubt it is.
More Sacrifice -- I've added an extended summary of the fifth season episode The Final Sacrifice to my Year Five Facts & Rumors page.

The New Derek...!!!! -- It's official (but you heard it here first) 28-year-old actor Robert Floyd has signed on to join the regular cast of Sliders for season five.
The Hollywood Reporter reports today that Floyd "has been cast to take over for Jerry O'Connell as one of four regulars [but] ... in a complicated science-fiction twist, Floyd will not entirely represent O'Connell's Quinn Mallory character but will play a fast-talking lab assistant in a research center who cons his way out of situations, according to sources."
The Reporter goes on to say that Sci-Fi will officially announce "multiple cast changes" next week.
Floyd has guest starred on Law & Order and had the lead role in network TV movies "The Descendant" on UPN and "He Didn't Come Home" on CBS. In films, he had a featured role in "Godzilla" and a lead role in "Cold Hearts" and "Paranoia."
Special thanks to Steve Kriozere, a freelance writer currently with Pamela Lee's new series VIP in which she plays a security agent.
Check your local listings to find out when VIP is on in your area. For Charlie O'Connell fans, he will guest star on VIP sometime this season so stay tuned.

The New Derek...? {again} -- The USCWS has received an e-mail from someone saying that they happen to be friends with the actor who has been cast [he says] as Derek Quade.
This person says that it is actor Robert Floyd. Floyd will appear on the CBS comedy-drama Early Edition this Saturday and will later star in the UPN original movie "Decendant."
I'm trying to get more information.
Today's the Day -- Production begins on the fifth season today, one day a head of schedule.
Check out the Year Five page for more details {and for an interestig rumor tidbit}.

The New Derek...? -- Rumor on the net has it that young actor Eddie Mills has been cast (or is close to being cast) as Derek Quade for the fifth season.
I find this hard to believe because Mills is roughly the same age as Jerry O'Connell (early 20s) and I think the producers are looking for a 15-17 year old actor for the part. But then I could be wrong.
Mills, of course, played Sabrina (the Lloyd)'s love interest, DERIC, in the third season Sliders episode State of the Art and fans of Sabrina the Teenage Witch no doubt saw him last night as Sabrina (the witch)'s love interest in the TV movie "Sabrina Goes to Rome."
Again, this may be just a rumor that was sparked to some Derek/DERIC - Sabrina/Sabrina confusion. We'll see.
Bloopers Online -- Armand Rock asked me to let everyone know that he has gotten
s hands on some Sliders bloopers from seasons two and three and will soon offer them up on the Internet.
The clips will be available in VIVO format.
Season Two clips will become available Thursday and is 4.5 megs. It's good quality, he says, will mean about a 5-7 minute download time.
Season Three clips will be along in about two weeks. Those are double the 5-7 minute range.
Armand cautions that some of the clips contain swearing so viewer discresion is advised.
Visit Armand's site at arock.dyn.ml.org/sliders/.
