Season 2

Returning for its second season, Sliders is the state-of-the-art adventure series that chronicles the travels of four dynamic characters who slide to parallel dimensions of Earth, experiencing and exploring Earth 1996 as it would be if a different path had been taken either personally or historically. The eclectic group of travelers is led by Quinn Mallory (Jerry O'Connell), a 23-year-old genius who finds the key to sliding travel from a homemade laboratory in his basement. With each slide, Quinn has become more in-tune with his intelligence and the effect he has on people under the most trying circumstances. He has proven himself to be a reliable leader as he guides the others from dimension to dimension.

Over the past year, the group has "slid" to such worlds as where the Declaration of Independence has become invalid or where a plague has run rampant without the simple cure of penicillin. This season, the Sliders will encounter a California under mob rule, a world where time runs backwards and a San Francisco serving hard time as a maximum security prison, each time hoping the next world they discover is home.
